5 lessons I’ve learned from my father’s death
1. Money can’t buy you happiness. Neither can it buy you a future either.
2. I hate relating to people that know how and what I feel. I don’t believe anyone deserves to feel this way.
3. Tomorrow is not promised. Buy the dress, go on vacation. Do what makes you happy or creates your happiness.
4. Grief is ghetto. Time doesn’t heal all wounds. You don’t have to be strong. Everything will not be okay.
5. You’re never going to get “over it”. It will always be something you have to “get through” but never over.
Grief comes in waves and sometimes it’s not fighting to survive the wave, but just riding it out.
